Who is responsible for the installation?
Before delivery of your pool our staff will discuss if your pool is going to be in ground, or above ground. from there we can walk you through how to prepare your location on your own, or we can connect you with a local contractor that can prep the area. In certain instances Cargeaux Pools may be able to manage the installation from start to finish.
Are Cargeaux pools easy to install?
Yes! Done in 1 to 2 days, installation is a breeze compared to a traditional pool. Once your area is prepped, the pool will be placed with an excavator, or crane. Once placed, we begin to fill your pool while simultaneously completing the plumbing and backfill. In most cases You’ll be swimming on installation day.
What if I have a difficult space?
In instances where we cannot do a physical visit, a Cargeaux pool team member will conduct a thorough discussion, involving concerns and potential issues. A video conference and picture will typically provide all that is needed to proactively predict site issues such as terrain and access. Our pools are fully customizable so we would like to say no space is too difficult for our team.
Does the base require a concrete slab?
Nope! Our in-ground or above ground requirements will vary based on your local terrain and should be discussed with your installation team but your Cargeaux pool does not require a concrete base or inlay!
Can I change the color of the pool?
Absolutely! while the exterior coating is non-negotionable, we have multiple colors available for the interior of your pool. This will be discussed/decided during the customization of your pool.
What sizes are available?
Standard pricing includes the following sizes: 8×20 / 8×30 / 8×40 / 12×20 / 12×30 / 12×40. However, we at Cargeaux pools love a challenge and are ready to hear your ideas. Let’s Consult!
What's the timeframe from production to installation?
Once a deposit is received and the design has final approval by all parties, expect to be swimming in 2 months.
Do Cargeaux pools leak?
Our pools are expertly fabricated and welded on all points. Every pool is water tested for leaks and potential coating deficiencies before ever leaving out facility.
What is included in my pool quote?
The standard pricing and/or your customized pool quote includes your pool and equipment only. it does not include shipping and installation.
What is the depth of the pool?
Our standard pricing includes a depth of 4 feet, but custom depths are available. Let’s talk!
Can I finance my pool?
We offer financing through Lightstream by Suntrust Bank. Additional information is available on the pricing page.
Do Cargeaux pools have drains?
Just like a traditional pool, you Cargeaux pool will have a main drain and a skimmer.
Can Cargeuax pools be shipped?
Yes Indeed! Our pools are custom manufactured in the great state of Louisiana but can be delivered nationwide. delivery costs are not included in your pool quote but will be determined and finalized based on delivery location.
What is the cost of installation?
Installation costs vary based on your location, terrain, in-ground/above ground installation, and contractor costs in general. Cargeaux pools is happy to help put you in touch with a contractor in your area.
What kind of filtration system does the pool have?
Cargeaux Pools come standard with a 1 HP pump and a 100SF cartridge filter. This filtration system is included in your quote.
Can my Cargeaux pool be heated?
Yes. As with traditional pools, both gas and electric heaters are compatible with your Cargeaux pool.
Is There a Warranty?
Yes! We extend a 5 year limited warranty.
Can I make my Cargeaux Pool a saltwater pool?
We do not recommend saltwater systems.
Will I need to get a permit to install my pool?
More than likely, yes. Every local government office will have different requirements. Cargeaux Pools will manage the permits and licenses for transportation/delivery but the homeowner will be responsible for the installation permits.
What chemicals will I need for my Cargeaux Pool?
Similar to traditional pools, we recommend using a weekly chlorine treatment and chlorine shock when neccesary.
will my Cargeaux Pool rust?
Rust is possible over the life of the pool. Rust only occurs when the steel is exposed to the elements. Exposed steel is rare and is usually caused by neglect, excessive chemical use, or sharp objects penetrating the paint.
Is it a Coating or a Liner?
While we do not use a Vinyl liner, our coating acts as a liner. We use a proprietary 2-part epoxy, sprayed at a minimum thickness of 40 mils and specially formulated for high chemical use.
Do Cargeaux pools require decking?
Unlike traditional pools, Cargeaux Pools can be installed at almost any elevation with or without a deck. And while a deck isn’t necessary, it most certainly can accommodate one.
